Corberán: “I see ambition and conviction from the team”

Valencia CF coach Carlos Corberán talked to the media ahead of Valencia CF’s Sunday fixture at El Sadar, against CA Osasuna.

“I see the team as having ambition and conviction. The numbers are there, but the games I have experienced with the team do not reflect them. In Seville we were close and in Villarreal I saw a team with integrity and competitive ability.”

“Nothing I propose on the pitch is born from improvisation. Everything starts from a deep analysis and work that we share with the players. Adapting to a match is part of the game. These kinds of details draw attention in defeat, and in victory they become normal. I like that the team are able to play with a line of 4 and a line of 5.”
